About the app

13 years ago or so I did my first app I was proud of. It was a Windows program for looping audio, designed for musicians. I also wrote an app for Android to controll the recording.

Why it failed

Unfortunately there was no good way of distributing software for small devs back then. I tried publishing it on steam, but you had to get some number of likes (I think 1000) from people to go through the greenlight. I had no idea how to find so many people back then(I still don’t) so the project didn’t pass the greenlight and never got published. I also had no idea about how the software market for audio looked, so I don’t think this app would be very successful even if I got it published.
